08–18–2018
A poster designed for Courage Against Racism: The Bail Trap — American Ransom, a community fundraiser and film screening hosted by Black Lives Matter Los Angeles and JusticeLA. The event featured a screening of The Bail Trap: American Ransom (Brave New Films), a panel discussion with organizers and advocates including Pete White, Ivette Alé, and Jane Fonda, and performances by Funmilola Fagbamilá.
The poster was created to circulate at the event and in the surrounding community—serving both as an announcement and as a visual gesture of solidarity with abolitionist movements challenging the injustices of the cash bail system.
